Fees and Funding
From the 1st April 2023
£5.10 per hour 3 and 4 year olds
£5.90 per hour 2 year olds (rate changes on 3rd birthday)
An invoice will be sent to you at the beginning of each month, this can be paid in full or weekly. Fees are also payable during absence and holidays. A prompt payment is appreciated , each child's attendance is conditional on continued payment of any necessary fees and/or Government Funding.
A Registration fee of £20.00 per child is charged on enrolment, unless when your child starts at the setting they are only accessing their free entitlement from the Government Funding for 2,3 and 4yr olds, in which case the registration fee is waived.
We accept cash, bank transfer or cheques for payment of fees. We also accept childcare vouchers from a range of companies. We are also registered to receive payment through the Government tax free childcare scheme.
All children are entitled to 15hrs of funding per week for 38 weeks from the term after their 3rd birthday. For Grant purposes the terms are as follows
Autumn Term
1st September - 31st December
14 weeks of Funding
Spring Term
1st January - 31st March
11 weeks of funding
Summer Term
1st April - 31st July
13 weeks of funding
PLEASE NOTE: THESE DATES WILL NOT NECESSARILY MATCH OUR TERM DATES. Occasionally our terms may be slightly longer than the number of weeks above and so you will be invoiced for the extra hours even if you are funded.
We also accept 2yr old Funding which some children qualify for, to check if you are eligible
30 Hours Funding: on top of the universal funding some families may qualify for an additional 15 Hours of funding per week. There are application deadlines for the additional Funding. For more information

In line with Funding rules you are required to give 4 weeks notice if you wish to withdraw your child from Playgroup.
